This can be prevented by\ndaily brushing along the teeth and gumline and flossing between the teeth.\nneglecting these habits can cause bacteria to build up and make the gums\ninflamed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. If I Don\u2019t Have Cavities, I Can\u2019t Get Gum Disease <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you brush and floss daily, you\u2019re less likely to get\ncavities and gum disease. However, while cavities typically cause pain, gum\ndisease often goes unnoticed until your dentist in Pea Ridge spots it. Uncontrolled diabetes can lower the body\u2019s ability to fight\ninfection and slow down its ability to heal. Because of this, you are at a\ngreater risk of developing infections like gum disease. Be extra diligent about\nyour oral health if you are diabetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
